Can be group or individual. 6 skeins of yarn and instruction included in this super fun three-hour class. Participants will leave with a finished blanket. Professional results with simple instruction.

Perry's specialties include the following: classical guitar; electric guitar; acoustic guitar; Native American flute; mandolin; original songs; popular songs; West African and Middle Eastern percussion; percussion for musical groups; drum circles; and dance accompaniment.

I have reached a point in my career where I can offer beginners classes, and if you have ever wanted to get your hands warm and test your hand eye coordination now is your chance! I offer 3 hour, basic, individual and group classes. We can make a variety of items in 3 hours including; a heart pendant, a leaf pendant, an icicle or Christmas ornament and a marble wine stopper. Terry Ganey Studio
Private Watercolor Lessons
Private in-studio lessons with artist and illustrator, Terry Ganey, which will introduce students to the whimsical and fresh world of watercolors.
You will learn how to work with them, learn about values and color theory, and the techniques she uses in watercolors. You will learn exercises that will help improve your watercolor painting, and go home with a finished piece of art that you created yourself.
She will provide all supplies in-studio for students to use, and send you home with informational pdf’s to help your practice at home. Classes are for ages 15 and up, and take place in Terry’s studio in TheArtWorks.

Price: $65 per class (if you choose to do so, there are 3 other classes in the Intro to Watercolor Series); Price for entire series of 4 classes, $240 ($20 discount)

Workshops
These one day events will offer a variety of projects using different techniques and materials to help children build a foundation and appreciation for art and creating, and most importantly, have fun! Children will have an opportunity to explore their creative expression and leave with a finished product they will be proud of. Each week will vary, so make sure to check back to see what workshops we have coming up!
after school classes
In these classes we will work on projects that may require a little more time to complete than a one day workshop. This gives children an opportunity to build further on their skills and develop a greater love of art and creating, while also making friends and having fun in the process! These classes will be offered in 6 week sessions for 1.5 hours, one night per week. Schedule and dates to be determined.
home school classes
These classes will be offered during the week for children who do not attend a traditional school setting to provide an opportunity for a fun social outing, while also giving children a chance to explore their creative expression. This will be a drop off class, which will give parents some much needed time for themselves, and children some time to be creative, get messy, and have fun with friends!
Prechool classes
These classes will be designed for preschool aged children, and will be geared for children ages 3-5. Children will be provided opportunities to create, explore and get messy... and the best part is, you can leave the clean up to me! These classes will also vary, so make sure to check back to see what classes are coming up! A caregiver is required to stay during this class.
toddler time
These events will be designed with the busy toddler in mind, and will be geared for children ages 2-3. Children will be provided opportunities to create, explore and get messy... and the best part is, you can leave the clean up to me! Fiber Art Classes with Susan Kranyik
Botanical shibori
Learn about botanical dyes and clamp and resist shibori techniques in one class!
Students will get experience mixing three botanical dyes- one alkaline, one acidic, and one neutral!
Students will make four 11x 14 inch samples of shibori with the three dye pots available.
Students will leave with enough fabric samples( 2 kona cotton, 2 silk) for a future project of their own, or,they can come back to my studio for a “sewing “ day.
Class is 3 hours: $75
Eco printing
Learn the basics of eco printing! How do you get a good print? Why do some leaves print and not others?
This is a beginners class that will teach the very basics of how to get a leaf to print on fabric.
Students will make three compositions, 11 x 14”, on various fabrics- cotton, linen, and silk.
The cotton and linen compositions will be aided with an iron blanket, which will add 2 more pieces of fabric to their stash!
The silk composition will be produced by soaking the leaves in iron.
Class is 3.5 hours: $75

Fleeces To Pieces, LLC was established in Wilmington North Carolina in 2021. The owner, Audrey Kruse, move to the area from Missouri, where she not only owned a yarn store, but also raised alpacas at their farm. The shop is filled with a wide variety of natural and synthetic fibers in a range of price points to accommodate beginner to professional fiber artist. Products include roving, yarn, tools, and finish products. Classes are available and Knitting, weaving, crochet, and other fiber arts.
