theArtWorks™ houses  a 7K square foot gallery, artists studios, coffee shop, wifi, and more.  The gallery gives artists a place to work their work, the community an event venue.  Studios include workspace, individual galleries and shop.  Meeting and classrooms are also available. And of course, the coffee shop and wifi enhances space for conversations, meetings, and social interaction.

"Capturing Moments" Closing Reception

Todd Carignan has been exhibiting his art in theArtWorks™ Gallery Verrazzano. Join us for the Closing Reception, Thursday January 23rd, 6-9 PM

Todd was selected for the official art of the Azalea Festival 2020.

Todd Carignan was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. He fell in love with drawing soon after his parents enrolled him in private art lessons at eight years old. Carignan attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he received his BFA in Sequential Art and a minor in Art History. He excels in many mediums, studying a variety of subjects - having worked as a cartoonist, illustrator, concept designer, portraitist, and gallery fine artist - but his true passion is oils.

Carignan teaches at Museum School at Cameron Art Museum with special focus on portraiture, figurative and landscapes. Carignan also teaches at DREAMS of Wilmington, a non-profit after-school arts education program for children. He has won multiple awards and has art in collections all over the US and internationally. You can find him painting across India, Vietnam and the US or in his studio at theArtWorks™ Art Village in Wilmington, NC.
