The First True Red, White & Blue Garden
Celebrating America’s 250 years with Art
WILMINGTON, North Carolina — Saturday, September 5th, 2026. Lawrence Leaf is a well-known Garden Artist and public figure with a passionate community of 18.5K+ garden enthusiasts. Lawrence is excited to unveil the first-ever true red, white, and blue garden. Featuring plants and stones that will be red, white, or blue year-round. Lawrence is hosting an event to unveil the garden and celebrate America’s 250 years. The garden, currently in progress, is showcased in front of theArtWorks™ in Wilmington.
On Saturday, September 5th, Lawrence will unveil the completed True Red, White & Blue Garden at 10AM. Following the unveiling guests can speak with Lawrence for garden advice and project inquiries or browse theArtWorks™ studios, where Lawrence will be establishing his business office. About Lawrence Leaf
Lawrence Leaf grew up surrounded by plants; his father, Lawrence Leaf Sr., and his two uncles began Leaf Nursery on Branch Ave, Gardenville, MD in 1951. Selling cultivated azaleas and boxwoods. Lawrence Leaf Jr. took over the business when his father fell ill in 1984. Lawrence has continued his passion in horticulture, working with high status clients such as College of Notre Dame of Maryland & Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD as the Ground Supervisor, fagers island in Ocean City, MD and many residential and commercial clients for both indoor and outdoor designs (Art Scapes) and maintenance.
